FOOD RESCUE is the collection or gleaning of edible food that would otherwise go to waste and distributing it to people facing hunger.

Over 108 billion pounds of food is wasted in the United States every year.

This waste goes into our landfills.

Rescued Food Delivery Locations

Bread of life operates like a food bank. Through FOOD RESCUE our team works with grocery stores and restaurants. We rescue approximately 63,000 pounds of edible food weekly that would be discarded as waste and deliver it local food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters all free of charge.
