OUR MISSION

The mission of Giving Tree Global is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to demonstrate the unconditional love of God to people of all faiths by providing food, clothing, and shelter to those in need. We live by the simplicity of the gospel and of devotion to Christ, allowing nothing to detract from the power of the cross. We serve an extraordinary God who does miracles in the lives of ordinary people.

WHO WE ARE

Giving Tree Global, Inc. is a 501c3 not for profit corporation. We provide food, clothing, and other help to food pantries and shelters throughout southern Westchester County. It all began with one bagel shop owner who opened his heart for Jesus and wanted to give something back so he decided to give his bagels to the poor and hungry.

Our team partners with local businesses, churches and government agencies to serve as a bridge to unite supply and demand. We receive our food supplies from various sources, but one unique source is that local business owners donate excess food that would otherwise be discarded as waste. Our team gets this food into the hands of those who are hungry.

Our beneficiaries are often physically hungry, but many of them yearn even more for compassion and reassurance that their lives matter. What we do is not simply about meeting physical needs, but also about bringing hope and healing to broken lives and hearts, healing that is possible through the grace of Jesus and the power of the cross.

Bread of Life Food Rescue feeds thousands in Westchester County, New York where 1 in 5 is hungry.
