What is Food Rescue?

Food Rescue is the collection of edible food that would otherwise go to waste and distributing it to people facing hunger. Over 108 billion pounds of food are wasted in the United States every year.
This waste goes into our landfills.

We work with grocery stores to recover over 63,000 pounds of edible food weekly and deliver it to 15 local food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters all free of charge.

Our goal is to help ensure that no one, especially the must vulnerable members of our community, ever experiences hunger or food insecurity.
