Sue Wexler, the Director of Community Outreach for Giving Tree Global was invited to spend time with an eager group of Milton School second grade students earlier this month during Community Service week. We realize the importance of educating students about hunger in Westchester County. After the assembly, the students created beautiful snack bags and cards that were distributed to seniors at the Huguenot House in New Rochelle. We are so grateful for our partnership with Milton School and have enjoyed spending time with the students for the past 8 years. It is important that our young people understand the problem of hunger and the role that they can play in making a difference.
