Many are familiar with the expression “You learn who your true friends are when you are struggling the most.” In the past couple of weeks our regular food donor supplies have been dramatically reduced. In this time of struggle we have realized that we have more true friends and supporters than we could have imagined!
The Bread of Life has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from individuals and community organizations who have donated food, finances and their time to help feed those in need. We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Rye Rotary Club, the Woman’s Club of Rye, Christ’s Church, Resurrection Youth Group, Ryemarkable Moms, Rye City School District, Kids Space, Rye YMCA, Osborn School Garden, the Big Give and countless families for partnering with us during this time of crisis to get food into the hands of the most vulnerable.
We feel blessed to be a part of this community. Thank you for your unwavering support.
